Foaling Services
Foaling season requires preparation, experience, and around-the-clock attention. Our foaling services are designed to provide both mares and foals with exceptional care and close monitoring during one of the most important stages of the breeding process.
Each mare is accommodated in a spacious 12×18 matted foaling stall and monitored through 24-hour camera surveillance and Breeder Alert foaling systems to help ensure a safe and timely foaling experience.
Foaling services include:
- 12×18 matted foaling stall
- 24-hour camera monitoring
- Breeder Alert foaling system
- Colostrum quality testing using refractometer
- Naval dipping with iodine
- Foal enema administration
- Banamine administration as needed
- IGG testing at 12 hours of age
Frozen colostrum and plasma administration are available if needed and are provided at an additional charge under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian.

This process can also provide the opportunity for multiple foals from a single donor mare within the same breeding season.
At Stone Equine, embryo transfer programs are managed with careful timing, close reproductive monitoring, and attention to detail throughout every stage of the process.

- Donor mare reproductive management
- Ovulation induction and cycle synchronization
- Artificial insemination using fresh or frozen semen
